| The ALi M5819P combines a complete month-of-day clock with alarm, a one hundred year calendar, a programmable periodic interrupt, and 241 bytes of static RAM. The M5819P has two distinct uses. First, it is designed as a battery powered CMOS clock including all the battery backed-up functions to maintain the date and time when the rest of a system is powered off, and secondly, it may be used with a CMOS microprocessor to keep track of the date and time in low power system applications. |
